Drew Beach is a Chattanooga based photographer specializing in Real Estate, Architecture, and Commercial Spaces, as well as Nature Photography.
Born and raised in Chattanooga, Drew initially began studying Graphic Art at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, later to change his direction of study towards Business as an Entrepreneur. What started as a basic interest in cameras and photography at a young age, Drew has been working around Nikon DSLRs for quite a while and is very capable of using them to their full potential. Taking pictures of a new custom home for a local builder with a time crunch is how Drew fell in love with photographing homes and architecture. It is always a new shot, a unique perspective, and a different challenge to conquer at every shoot, that is why he loves this business.
Drew uses a mixture of natural and artificial light where appropriate to capture stunning interior and exterior spaces. Every image is built from multiple exposures with expert attention to detail. Drew strives to create laid-back and fun environments while shooting, whether it be a small real estate shoot or a brand new construction for an architect.
When Drew isn't photographing homes and architecture, he is normally out fishing or taking pictures of the amazing wildlife that inhabits our beautiful city of Chattanooga.
Meet Drew's Dad, everyone! Joe Beach is one of the main reasons Drew is into real estate photography today!
Joe has always had a deep interest in photography. Back before Drew was even able to grasp the hype behind taking casual photos for fun, Joe was the "family photographer" for the Beach household. Teaching Drew the concepts of a DSLR and providing him with a basic understanding on compositions, Joe began what is now a full time career for Drew, and now himself.
Before beginning this new journey, Joe worked as a Physical Therapist for 35 years! After all of those rewarding years of helping people heal, after much thought, he decided it was time for something new. The timing for Joe to join the team could not have been better. Drew was in need for a full time photographer to help handle the ever increasing demand. But more importantly, Joe was the perfect candidate for the job given his background in working with people daily, and having the experience with a camera already.
When Joe has some time off from shooting homes, you better believe he is going to be cooking some amazing food for friends and family!
We ask that the property be fully prepared for the photoshoot upon the arrival of the photographer. We understand that this isn't always possible, but it is important for the photographer to be made aware of this in advance. The photographer is not able to stage / clean and have time to complete the photoshoot. Scheduling is tight most of the time, and it is normally built around how long we know each shoot will last.
